Our Mission: Helping People Hear
The Company:
Williams Sound Corp. is a privately-held, US company located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, within the metropolitan area of Minneapolis / St. Paul. The company was founded in 1976. We manufacture many of our products in our Eden Prairie plant and supplement our US production with local sub-contractors and overseas partners. We also distribute selected products from reputable suppliers which complement our own products and we import carefully qualified accessory items such as earphones, headphones, and microphones.
Design and Manufacturing Expertise:
Williams Sound maintains an aggressive program of refining existing products and designing new products. To further our international growth, we will continue to develop new products that will meet the technical requirements of many different countries. Our research and development staff consists of engineers specializing in radio, audio, infrared, microprocessor, and mechanical design. Our manufacturing expertise is in mid-volume, high complexity electronic assemblies. Our Chinese partner specializes in high-volume, low-cost electronic assemblies.

Commercial products are sold and installed by professional distributors and sound equipment installers. Commercial markets include cinemas, churches, schools, theaters, conference centers, sports arenas, courtrooms, board rooms, museums, factory tours and guided tours in tourist attractions.

Personal Products:
Williams Sound is also a leader in the field of Assistive Listening Devices (ALD's). These are consumer devices for persons with hearing loss, fitted and sold by a network of audiologists, clinics, specialty catalog, and on-line retailers. Markets include use in homes, schools, clinics, and offices.
